About me

Hello, I am Rowena. I'm an artist and illustrator currently based in London. I founded Painted Purple Studio in 2020 after graduating and it has been a passion project ever since! In my artwork I use colour and patterns to create playful designs inspired by nature - everything I produce is hand-painted myself and then scanned in and composed digitally.

I am most inspired by the everyday world around me, using this as constant source of new inspiration. My most recent passion has to be working from nature, and the beauty of botany. ​​​​​
